Business & Functional Analyst ( BPMN, UML , ITIL  - Freelance or Perm )

Reporting to the Global Master Data Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to support the accuracy, setup, and maintenance of the company’s master data. You will ensure data quality and integrity across business applications, including the ERP system.
In this role, strong analytical skills are essential to understand and execute business data requirements.
The Data Management Analyst must understand the importance of data quality across the organization, including aspects such as information lifecycle management, data modeling, master data management, and gathering business requirements.
You will work with various ERP systems such as JDE, Mapics, Navision, and Business Central, as well as workflow and invoice automation tools like Bottomline, Datahaven, and Inspyrus.
Where needed, you will collaborate with various departments across both business and IT functions.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

Analysis (70%)

• Execute master data setup and configurations within ERP systems.
• Coordinate data requests and ensure compliance with data quality standards.
• Analyze business requests for accuracy and alignment with company policies.
• Monitor data quality, perform cleansing activities, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business teams to provide data-driven insights and support the resolution of master data issues.

Data Continuity and Process Improvement (20%)

• Review and improve guidelines for master data requests.
• Provide support to IKO business departments regarding master data.
• Contribute to internal projects involving data analysis and process optimization.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support (10%)

• Apply data audit methods and procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Participate in internal projects that require data and business analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical input.

 

• Daily administration and support of our Salesforce implementation including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, fields, record types, page layouts, workflow and validations;

• Participate and lead in business process review workshops and perform detailed analysis of business requirements

• Develop solutions to business requirements using Salesforce and Force.com platform capabilities

• Assist with development of training curriculum

• Migrate data from customer legacy systems, or Exchange using Salesforce data migration tools

• Take a primary role in devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing;

• Keeping on top of new Salesforce features and functionality, specifically Lightning and providing recommendations for process improvements;

• Keep application users informed about system functionality and enhancements;

• Provide Salesforce users with technical support;

• Logging and tracking identified system problems through resolution;

• Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users

• Working closely with  Salesforce partner ecosystem including technology providers, App Exchange partners and implementation partners

The following tasks will be part of your responsibilities:

• Analyze in tight collaboration with end-users (and other stakeholders) their business needs and translate these into software change requests
• Continuously follow up/investigate business processes in order to keep optimizing these
• Do business modelling and functional analysis
• Interact with development teams to ease their understanding of new requirements
• Test new software developments and train users
• Provide helpdesk support for new software developments
• Train users on new software
• Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation
• Travel when needed to other sites and roll out new software implementations
• Act as project manager on new start ups:
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
  • Prepare material for and deliver presentations to projects
  • Coach/guide change management processes
• Keep track of innovations which can be used to optimize our business processes
